سؤال أجاب عنه فضيلة الشيخ محمد صالح المنجد - حفظه الله -، ونصه: «بعض الناس يفهم من أحاديث المهدي أو نزول المسيح عيسى ابن مريم - عليه السلام - أنها مدعاة لترك العمل للإسلام، فيجلس منتظرًا خروج المهدي، أو نزول المسيح حتى تعود العزة للإسلام والمسلمين؛ فما رأيكم في هذا الفهم؟».
Some people take the ahaadeeth about the Mahdi and the descent of ‘Eesa (peace be upon him) as a reason to stop striving for Islam, so they sit and wait for the emergence of the Mahdi or the descent of ‘Eesa, so that Islam and the Muslims will rise once again.
