عن عائشة رضي الله عنها, وعبد الله بن عمررضي الله عنهما قالا: قال رسول الله ﷺ: «ما زال جبريل يوصيني بالجار، حتى ظننت أنه سيورِّثه».
‘Ā'ishah and ‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Jibrīl kept enjoining the good treatment of the neighbor to the extent that I thought he would include the neighbor as an heir."
Jibrīl continuously urges me to take care of the neighbor until I thought that he would come with divine revelation instructing that the neighbor be among the heirs.
