عن إبراهيم قال: "كانوا يكرهون التمائم كلها، من القرآن وغير القرآن".
Ibrahīm reported: They used to hate all types of amulets, whether those having verses from the Qur'an or anything other than the Qur'an.
Ibrahīm An-Nakha'i relates from some of the great Tabi'is that they used to generalize the prohibition of hanging amulets, even if they only had Qur'anic verses, so as to eliminate the means that may lead to what is forbidden.
