Shia (التَّشيُّع)

In the early generations of Islam, it meant to consider ꜤAlī to be better than ꜤUthmān, but behind Abu Bakr and ꜤUmar who were the best. Some, however, might have considered ꜤAlī to be the best human being, second only to God's Messenger (peace be upon him). For later generations, it is a totally sectarian outlook.
