complete pause (الوَقْفُ المُطْلَق)

A pause which makes resuming with what comes next perfectly appropriate. This term was coined by al-Sajāwandī, and the pause is given the mark ṭ, as in the case of pausing at lā tatafarraqū fīh and start with kabura Ꜥala (42: 13).
