المعنى الاصطلاحي :


A state in which fear, sickness, or the like prevents a Muslim in the state of "ihrām" (ritual state of consecration) from proceeding with the rituals of Hajj or ‘Umrah initially or permanently, partially or entirely.

الشرح المختصر :


"Ihsār" (prevention from completing Hajj) is the case in which a Muslim in the state of "ihrām" for Hajj or ‘Umrah is prevented from proceeding with their rituals by an enemy, illness, captivity, or the like in such a way that they become unable to complete the rituals of Hajj or ‘Umrah.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر :


"Ihsār": derived from "uhsira", which originally means gathering, detention, and prevention, as happens when sickness prevents one from traveling or a pilgrim from completing the rituals of Hajj.
