These are the texts, unanimity of scholars, rulings by a companion of the prophet if there is no counter ruling, choosing the most appropriate ruling of the prophet’s companions when they differ and making such a choice on the basis of consistency with the Qur'an and the sunnah, then upholding mursal hadiths (i.e. With an incomplete chain of transmission) and hadiths of the ‘good’ grade, then analogy and similar rules operated by Ḥanbalī scholars.
