exclusive narration (التَّفَرُّد)

That the narrator is the only one that narrates a particular hadith, or only an addition to it no one else has narrated, or his being the only narrator in a particular way, such as narrating from a certain teacher, or town or condition. It is of two types: absolute and relative exclusivity.
