التعريف :

Each of the separate letters at the opening of Surahs, when the letter is pronounced in full, consisting of three letters the second of which is a long vowel, and the last letter has no short vowel and must be assimilated in the following separate letter. For example: alif.Lām.Mīm (2: 1) and ṭā.Sīn.Mīm (26: 1).
