شرح الحديث :

'Ali ibn Abi Tālib (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) once came to him and Fātimah at night and found them asleep. So he woke them up and said: "Would you two not pray?" The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) urged them to perform the night prayer. He preferred for them this virtuous deed to rest and relaxation due to his knowledge of its great virtue. Otherwise, he would not have disturbed his daughter and his cousin at a time that Allah has made a resting time for His creatures.
