denial of God's attributes (نَفْيُ الصِّفَاتِ)

التعريف :

Denial of the attributes God claimed for himself or stated by His Messenger (peace be upon him). This is known as taꜤṭīl. This is of two types: total, which is the belief of the Jahmiyyah and the MuꜤtazilah, and partial which denies some, not all, attributes of God. This is the belief of the AshꜤariyyah and Maturīdiyyah.
