التعريف
The case of a narrator mistakenly or deliberately attributing a hadith to someone who has not narrated it. It is a description implying that the narrator is unreliable and that he is known to steal hadiths, or to be very poor in accuracy. The phrase is close to the third grade of unacceptability, which means that the hadiths narrated by such people are totally unacceptable.
