An Imami Shia sect and followers of Ja`far ibn Muhammad as-Saadiq.
"Al-Ja`fariyyah" (A deviant Shia sect): is a sect from the Raafidah Shia that is also called the Twelvers and Imaamiyyah. They ascribe themselves to Ja`far as-Saadiq who is their sixth Imam as they claim. Their first Imam was Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, and their last Imam was Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-`Askari who is in occultation as they claim. Some of the "Ja`fariyyah" beliefs: 1.They believe that the Qur'an is altered. 2. They consider most of the companions, may Allah be pleased with them, as unbelievers, and curse and hate them. 3. They believe that their twelve Imams are infallible and do not make mistakes or forget, let alone sins. They also believe that their Imams know the unseen. 4. They sanctify the graves and tombs and supplicate to the dead. 5. They believe in dissimulation. There are other misguided and false beliefs.
