Showing hospitality to the guest in the house or a similar place, being kind to him and taking care of his needs.
"Diyāfah" (hospitality) includes everything to honor the quest and to be kind, good, and respectful to him. It is one of the best noble characteristics and manners of the “Al-Khaleel” (the most beloved) Prophet Ibrāhim (Abraham), peace be upon him. Islam has greatly encouraged it and considered it a sign of true faith. It is the right of a Muslim visitor to receive hospitality from his Muslim brother.
"Dhiyāfah": closeness, affinity. Other meanings: keeping company of someone, meeting, offering a meal (food and drink).
