The firm conviction of the truth of what God and the prophet (peace be upon him) have told us about what happens after death of the test in the grave, the torment and happiness in the grave, as well as what subsequently happens: the resurrection, gathering, opening the records, reckoning, the balance, the pool, the path, the intercession and heaven and hell, as well as what God has prepared for their respective dwellers. This is the fifth of the six essential elements of faith.
