Whatever is introduced into the religion and is contrary to what has been known from the prophet (peace be upon him) which necessarily leads to disbelief, such as inventing something that leads to denying an essentially known aspect of the faith that has been transmitted in the tawātur method, or to believing in what is contrary to such matter.
