التعريف :

A case when a narrator narrates from a teacher he had met, whether he listened to his narrations or not, a hadith he had not heard from him, implying that he heard it from him. Some scholars limit this term to the case of narrator reporting a hadith he did not hear from a teacher he met and listened to.
