التعريف :

To show the copy made by the narrator to the teacher from whom he heard the hadiths, or to check it against the teacher’s original, or against another already checked copy so as to ascertain the correctness of this copy. This is called Ꜥarḍ, muꜤāraḍah, or muqābalah.
