Narrators whose biographical notes are entered by Imam Jamāl al-dīn al-mazzī (died 742 AH 1342 CE) in his tahdhīb al-kamāl fī asmāʾ al-rijāl. These are the narrators mentioned in the six main hadith anthologies or mentioned in some of the works of the authors of these six anthologies. This is a recently introduced term.
