To be easily accessible in word and deed, gentle, compassionate and to prefer the easier option. It is the opposite of violence.

الرِّفْقُ: لِينُ الجانِبِ بالقَوْلِ والفِعْلِ، واللُّطْفُ في أَخْذِ الأمْرِ بِأحْسَنِ الوُجوهِ وأيْسَرِها.
