the two sons (الابْنَان)

التعريف :

A reference to Ibn ꜤĀmir (from Damascus) and Ibn Kathīr (from Makkah). Among the seven main reciters of the Qur'an, these two were best known as the sons of their fathers (i.e. Ibn so-and-so), without their own names being mentioned.
