An abbreviation of the name of Abu Muhammad ꜤAbd al-Bāqī ibn Yūsuf al-Zurqānī (died 1099 AH 1688 CE), the author of the explanation of Mukhtaṣar Khalīl, known as Sharḥ al-Zurqānī. It is also abbreviated as z, or Ꜥab.
