التعريف :

A description of a hadith narrator implying that scholars of accreditation and criticism differed as to his reliability or otherwise. The term is close to the sixth degree, the least of unacceptable grades. Hadiths narrated by people of this grade are written for reconfirmation, not as main evidence.
