التعريف :

To compensate for something with a different act that cannot be rationally seen as equal, such as an elderly person who can no longer fast in Ramadan compensates by feeding a poor person, and one who cannot perform the hajj sends someone else to do the hajj on his behalf, paying that person’s expenses, and one who accidentally kills or causes injury gives financial indemnity.
