التعريف :

A term used by Imam Mālik and some of his disciples implying that the hadith is abrogated or abandoned because of a more solid counter evidence. Some explain the term as meaning rejecting the hadith because it is contrary to the practice of the people of Madinah or because the prophet’s companions did not act on it.
