Qur’anic words that are pronounced in three different ways, using the three short vowels with a particular letter. An example is the word jadhwah in the verse 29 of Surah 28, the story. According to ꜤĀṣim’s variant, it is jadhwah, and according to Ḥamzah, it is judhwah, while in all the other variants, it is pronounced jidhwah.
