التعريف :


Fire worshippers. They believe that the universe has two origins: light and darkness. They claim that light has always been in existence, while darkness occurred at a certain point.

المعنى الاصطلاحي :


A group of disbelievers who worship the fire, the sun, and the moon.

الشرح المختصر :


"Majūs" (Magians/Zoroastrians): "Majūsiyyah" is an ancient religion that is based on sanctifying the stars and fire. A man named Zoroaster revived it and added new teachings to it. They believe in the two origins: light and darkness. They claim that goodness comes from light and evil comes from darkness.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر :


"Majūs" (sing. Majūsiyy): a group ascribed to the "Majūsiyyah", a sect whose followers worship the fire, the sun, and the moon. It is an arabicized Persian word.
