What is attributed to a companion of the prophet who did not learn Jewish stories, provided that this is not subject to personal view, ijtihad, or related to linguistic meanings. It is contrasted to al-marfūꜤ al-ṣarīḥ or al-marfūꜤ taṣrīḥan, which means explicitly ascribed.
