التعريف
One of the methods of making a choice used by idolaters in pre-Islamic days. It involves using arrows or lined wood pieces placed in sack. Something is written on every arrow. The person concerned throws his arrows. If a particular arrow falls, it signifies an order to do, while a different arrow signifies an order not to do. If the arrow falls on the side of the writing, they act on the basis of what is written.
