Showing enmity by word or action to Allah's enemies, disassociating oneself from them and keeping away from them inwardly and outwardly.
"Mu‘ādāh" (enmity/hostility) is showing hostility in words and deeds towards the enemies of Allah. It entails disassociating from them; distancing oneself from them inwardly and outwardly; and disliking, opposing, and avoiding them. However, it does not involve injustice or transgression against their rights, which are defined by the Shariah.
"Mu‘ādāh": showing hostility. Original meaning: hatred. Opposite: "muwālāh" (alliance).
To reflect an attitude of hostility and to be hostile to God’s enemies.
