التعريف :

One of the Christian rituals, and it is one of the tasks and secrets of the church. It involves immersing a person in water in the name of the trinity, once, twice or three times according to different sects and churches. Baptism is a symbol of purification from sin and impurity and belonging to Christ’s church. Its method is that the person who wishes to be baptised applies to the priests who then ask him to abstain from eating meat and drinking alcohol for a number of days. They then instruct him in their faith. When he has learnt it, he attends a meeting of priests when he declares himself a Christian. They then immerse him in water. They substitute baptism for the circumcision which was made obligatory to the Children of Israel.
