التعريف :

A sect named after Macedonius, the Bishop of Constantinople, who called for God’s absolute oneness, and that Jesus was the holy spirit and God’s word. He also preached that the holy spirit and the word were creations, and that the holy spirit was not divine; rather, a messenger of God. This became widely known among Christians throughout the roman empire and they did not reject it. However, the Council of Constantinople held in 381 CE, and attended by 150 Bishops, resolved that the holy spirit was divine. Macedonius was expelled and removed from his post.
