آداب الأكل والشرب
‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you eats, let him eat with his right hand, and when he drinks, let him drink with his right hand, for, indeed, the devil eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand.”
عن عبد الله بن عمر -رضي الله عنهما- مرفوعاً: «إذا أكل أحدكم فليأكل بيمينه، وإذا شرب فليشرب بيمينه، فإن الشيطان يأكل بشماله، ويشرب بشماله».
شرح الحديث :
This Hadīth orders Muslims to eat and drink with their right hands. It also indicates that eating and drinking with the left hand is the action of the devil.
