الأخلاق الذميمة
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever restrains his anger, Allah shall protect him from His torment."
عن أنس -رضي الله عنه- مرفوعًا: «من كفَّ غضبه, كفَّ الله عنه عذابه».
شرح الحديث :
This Hadīth indicates the virtue of the one who restrains his anger when stirred and prevents it from growing into a desire for revenge. Whoever succeeds in doing so will receive a great reward equal to such a great deed. He will be granted protection by Allah from His torment on the Day of Judgment.
