الأخلاق الذميمة
‘Ā’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Evil omen is a bad moral character."
عن عائشة -رضي الله عنها- مرفوعاً: «الشُّؤْمُ: سُوءُ الخُلُقِ».
شرح الحديث :
Although the chain of narration of this Hadīth is classified as weak, its meaning is correct. Bad manners are a torment to the person himself, as well as to those around him of family, children, neighbors, friends, and colleagues. His bad manners are a bad omen for him, because it cause him to be disliked, abhorred, and hateful by everyone. His bad manners thus harm him and harm others around him.
