Naṣīr’s ‘m’ sound (مِيمَاتُ نَصِير)

التعريف :

The plural markers ‘m’ to which Naṣīr ibn Rasm, in his version of al-Kisāʾī’s recitation, adds the long vowel ū, when it is followed by another ‘m’ sound, or a realised glottal stop, and at the end of a verse, provided certain conditions are met. Naṣīr’s version is not of the mutawātir grade, except where it is identical to the variant recitations of NāfiꜤ and Ibn Kathīr.
