التعريف
The areas of knowledge that are essential to the knowledge of the variant recitations. al-BiqāꜤī classified these into seven areas: chains of transmission, Arabic language, places and manner of articulation, pause and restart, the number of verses, the original written form and seeking refuge from Satan at the beginning and God’s glorification between surahs.
