المعنى الاصطلاحي :


Essential parts of the body.

الشرح المختصر :


"Ārāb" (essential parts of the body): The parts of the body are of two types: 1. Parts that Allah created because humans need them, such as the hand, leg, and eye. This type further consists of two types: a. Non-essential parts. b. Essential parts: they are called "ārāb". When any of these parts stop working, it causes severe damage to the body. 2. Parts for adornment, such as the eyebrow and the beard.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر :


"Ārāb" (sing. irab): a full organ of which nothing is missing, such as the private parts and the like. It is derived from "irb", which means need or reason. "Irbah": shrewdness, skill. "Areeb": the skillful and rational person. Other meanings: pieces of meat.
