The "abtar" (short-tailed snake) is a light snake that has a cut off (short) tail. It is of various types: there is a blue one that flees from everyone, and no one sees it except that he dies, and any pregnant woman who sees it miscarries. It is called the devil of snakes.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر :


"Abtar": that which has a part cut off, regardless of whether it is the tail, the leg, or the like. Derived from "batr", which means cutting off, amputating. Other meanings: a person who is childless.
