المعنى الاصطلاحي :


Granting the benefits of an immovable property (to someone).

الشرح المختصر :


"Irfaaq" (granting benefits of immovable property) is to grant the benefit of something to others and give them access to that benefit to avail themselves of it. This act of granting may be made by the Imam (Muslim ruler), in which case it is called "irfaaq al-iqtaa‘", or it could be made by someone else.

"Irfaaq": grant benefit to others. Derived from "rifq", which means gentleness, kindness.
