To let grow (إِعْفَاءٌ)

المعنى الاصطلاحي :
Letting the hair of the beard grow and increase without trimming or shaving it.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"I‘fā’": increasing and growing. "‘Āfi": a person with long hair. "‘Afw": leftover and remnants of something. It is derived from "‘afā’", which means leaving. "‘Afw" is also derived from "‘afā’", and it means leaving out the punishment. Other meanings: increase, elongation, release, letting go, acquittal, deliverance.
