المعنى الاصطلاحي :


Seeking the pleasure of Allah, the Exalted, regarding someone else.

الشرح المختصر :


"Taraddi" (saying: may Allah be pleased with so-and-so.) means asking Allah to be pleased with someone, especially the noble Companions, because they used to sacrifice themselves and everything they had seeking Allah's pleasure. They strove their utmost to do what pleases Allah and endured many hardships and trials that came their way testing their faith and commitment while being satisfied with that.
