Each of the two litigants affirming the other's claim.
"Tasāduq" (mutual affirmation) is when each of the two litigants affirms what the other says and claims and acknowledges the truthfulness of his claim regardless of whether they are partners, parties to a contract, spouses, and so forth. This is applicable regardless of whether the agreement is for affirming something or negating it. "Tasāduq" occurs verbally, like when a wife says: "My husband has divorced me," and the husband says: "Yes." It also occurs by what replaces words, like a sign, writing, silence, and so on.
"Tasāduq": when both speakers tell the truth. Opposite: "takādhub" (mutual lying). Other meanings: affirmation, accompaniment, mutual affection.
