"Ta`zheem al-Hurumaat" (Honoring sacred ordinances) is a well-established principle in Islamic Shariah and not subject to change over time and space. Venerating the One Who commands and prohibits i.e. Allah, Glorified and Exalted, by affirming His existence, His names, His attributes, and His Lordship on one hand, and by believing in His Messengers and His Books on the other. Forms of honoring sacred ordinances: 1. Avoiding all the prohibitions such as polytheism, innovations in religion, and sins, and carrying out all acts of worship to one's best capacity. 2. Preserving, sanctifying, and honoring the sacred symbols of Islam, such as al-Masjid al-Haraam (the Sacred Mosque), the noble Qur'an, the noble Messengers, prayers, and the rest of the acts and places of worship, etc. 3. Refraining from rejecting Allah's commands and prohibitions based on one's personal desires, false interpretation, blind imitation, or man-made laws.
