Fad'h (exposure) is when a person discloses the flaws of another so that they are known for it. This meaning is close to defamation and exposure of faults. Exposing secrets and honors is a form of transgression, which is legally forbidden. Whoever exposes the secret and flaws of his fellow Muslim, Allah will expose him in the worldly life and the Hereafter before all people.
"Fad'h": revealing, exposing, defaming. "Fadeehah": scandal; a name for every evil matter that gives a bad reputation to the person involved with it. Original meaning: uncovering, mostly used to denote a negative connotation. Other meanings: calumny, introducing.
