الشرح المختصر :

"Al-Marreesiyyah" is one of the Murji’ah sects of Baghdad who followed Bishr al-Marreesi. Their beliefs include the following: 1. Faith consists only of pronouncing with the tongue and believing in the heart. 2. The Qur’an is created. 3. They deny Allah's attributes and say that all of them are one thing; hearing, sight, knowledge, and all other attributes are all one. 4. Al-Marreesi used to say: prostrating to the sun and the moon are not acts of disbelief but only a sign of disbelief. All the leading scholars unanimously agreed on dispraising "Al-Marreesiyyah", and the majority of them even declared them to be disbelievers and followers of falsehood.
