العقيدة

المعنى الاصطلاحي :


The grave, major sins that doom their perpetrator to ruin in the worldly life and the Hereafter.

الشرح المختصر :


The "moobiqaat" are the destructive sins. They are called thus because they destroy the person who commits them as a result of the penalties and prescribed corporal punishment he will receive for committing them in the worldly life and the torment he is expected to suffer in the Hereafter.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر :


"Moobiqaat" (sing. moobiqah): the destructive sins; the sins that lead a person to destruction and loss in the worldly life and the Hereafter. "Wabaqa": he was destroyed.
