The "a‘rāb" (bedouins) are the Arab desert dwellers. They live in a vast area in the desert close to water and pasture. They live in tents and do not settle in one place, in contrast to the "hādir" who is the city and village dwellers.
"A‘rāb" (pl. a‘āreeb): Bedouins, desert dwellers from the Arabs or non-Arabs. "Ta‘arrub": living in the desert with the Bedouins.
Nomad Arabs who live in the desert areas and do not permanently settle in a place.
