التعريف :
Any instrument a person uses to do what is needed.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
A tool that is used to do work, such as a knife for slaughtering, a sword for fighting and exacting retribution, etc.
الشرح المختصر :
"Ālah" (tool) is any tool that is used to take care of his needs, such as a tool for slaughtering, which can be anything that cuts meat by pressing its lower part against it, like glass, and metal tools, like knives and the like.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Ālah" (pl. ālāt): a tool that is used to do work.
