التعريف
This is a fiqh rule which means that what is part of something else does not get separate rulings. This does not mean that it does not have any rulings at all, but merely that it cannot have different rulings from those that apply to the whole. For example, a person who is exempt from offering obligatory prayers, such as a woman during her menstrual or postnatal period, may not offer any recommended prayers.
